Federal Home Buyers Tax Credit
Not only is the $8,000 first-time home buyer tax credit being extended into the first part of next year, but eligibility for the credit has been significantly expanded.
It’s not just a tax credit for first-time buyers anymore. Move-up buyers, move-down buyers, and others who have previously owned a home will be able to claim a $6,500 credit as well.
