Information
There are many advantages to
choosing a Lehigh Valley Builders Association member
for your next project.
To the Consumer
Before Builders Can Meet Your
Standards...They Must Meet Ours.
Contrary to popular belief, there is no law in Pennsylvania
that says builders or remodelers must carry insurance
or back their work with a warranty. There is no law
that says they must have good credit, use a written
contract or follow a demanding Code of Ethics.
Yet over 300 builders and remodelers in the Lehigh Valley
voluntarily submit to these pro-consumer standards.
They do so as members of the Lehigh Valley Builders
Association (LVBA).
Membership in the Builders Association is a sign of
professionalism. The LVBA looks out for consumer interests
by setting high standards for its membership. The LVBA
Code of Ethics governs how their members conduct business.
Benefits to Consumer
Choosing a Lehigh Valley Builders
Association member company ensures that all applicants
have been pre-screened for professionalism, experience
and financial responsibility. The Association encourages
continuing education for its members and requires all
builder and remodeler members to carry insurance, to
offer warranties on their work and to adhere to a strict
Code of Ethics.
You can view the LVBA Membership Directory divided by
Builder List, Remodelors™Council and Classified Members
by clicking on the buttons to the left. Our directory
includes over 1000 local, qualified builders and remodelers,
as well as businesses that sell home-related services
and materials. We also publish a printed copy of our
directory, which includes a Buyer's Guide. You can get
a copy by e-mailing us
or by calling the LVBA office at (610) 432-4101.
